Historic home restoration has been our specialty for over 50 years. Our craftsman are passionate about caring for your historic home through attention to detail, fine woodworking skills, and time-honored tradition.

Founded on Craftsmanship
Tom Turcketta founded the company after two decades of historic restoration work and advanced training at North Bennett Street Industrial School in Boston, where he studied carpentry, cabinet-making, and furniture-making. His expertise in antique architecture and traditional building methods established the company's reputation for preservation work.
After relocating to Brewster in 1997, Tom built a team of custom cabinet-makers, skilled woodworkers, and craftsmen who completed numerous large-scale historic projects across the Cape. Today, historic home restoration and preservation represents approximately 80 percent of the company's work.
Continuing the Legacy
Our company is now led by Jim Craig, who bringing extensive experience with Cape Cod's older properties. Jim specializes in historic homes, detailed renovations, and custom residential projects. He has worked on late-1700s houses, antique barns, and classic coastal homes throughout the Cape.
Jim manages each project from permitting through construction, working directly with homeowners, architects, and local building departments. His hands-on approach addresses the specific challenges of older Cape properties, whether restoring original details, coordinating trades, or managing full additions and renovations. Clients value his attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to work that respects historic character while ensuring long-term durability.
